Following a bout of laminitis my horse Dylan was diagnosed with Cushings. He recovered well and eventually became healthy once more but he used to stand oddly, with his back legs underneath him. Jo came out to treat him and he now stands normally again. She comes regularly as he is now 22 years old and a little arthritic, and also sufffers with breathing difficulties in the spring and summer. I feel Jo helps him immensely to cope with all his problems and he is still fun to ride and full of energy. She spends time giving him a very thorough session, is extremely caring with Dylan and very patient with me, always happy to answer all my questions and concerns. Just recently Dylan started to continuously stand with one of his back feet either pointing well forward or resting. Jo came out and worked on his pelvis and he hasn’t done it since. Dylan deserves his regular sessions and I feel they help to keep him fit and happy.

Jo has been treating my horses for the last few years, she is very professional and has a lovely way about her when working with each horse. She is very intuitive and can very quickly spot where there’s an issue, even if it’s very subtle. Jo always takes her time and never rushes when working with each horse. I highly recommend her and so does Candy.

Our 9 year old boxer, Hogan was feeling very stiff and sore to the point that he refused to jump into the back of the car for a walk and struggled to eat his food from the floor. He was not his usual bouncy self and was clearly suffering so we referred him to Jo. Hogan hates being pulled about by anyone, but Jo was very patient and took her time to understand Hogan’s problems in such a kind and gentle manner that he was immediately at ease. After just one treatment there was an immediate improvement. Hogan was smiling again, happy to eat from the floor and jump into car for his walk. Jo now treats Hogan on a regular basis and he loves his full body massage, greeting Jo like his long lost friend whenever she visits. The difference in his mobility has been astonishing. Jo has a wonderful way with the animals she treats, is extremely knowledgeable and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

My Belgian Shepherd Groenendael started experiencing a painful back problem back in the autumn of 2017 which was picked up at agility classes by his instructor. I consulted Jo Morton who was recommended to me by my trusted vet. Jo first came to see Archie in October 2017 and quickly identified his problem and treated it. He continued agility until the end of January 2019 when he retired on reaching the age of ten. Jo continues to visit and treat Archie to monitor the tight spot he has with regard to his back and, probably more importantly at his stage of life, to keep a check on any other small issues that may arise in order to keep him happy and healthy. I have found Jo to be very thorough in her work, almost as if waving a magic wand to locate any problem and ease it. My dogs love her and there is great excitement when she arrives at our home which speaks for itself! I have no hesitation in recommending her.

I have been using Jo to treat my event horses regularly for well over a year now, and I wouldn’t have anyone else. The difference I feel in my horses way of going and how comfortable they clearly are after Jo treating them is more than enough proof of how good she is at her job. Several of my horses are very different in all aspects; size, shape and where their individual weaknesses and tensions lie, and she is able to keep all of them feeling their best. I can rely on her to always do what is best for the horses and ensure no issue is left to fester, and to be honest with me about what she feels, even if it’s not what I have felt! She will always do her best to fit my horses in at tricky times so that they are treated at the optimum time in the lead up to a competition. This is what I value the most about her and why I will always continue to have her treating my horses and would recommend her to anyone looking to take extra care in keeping their horses comfortable and performing their best.
